Opening of the Exhibition “Originating from Shtetl” in Korsun-Shevchenkivskiy
The Regional Association of Jewish Communities holds an exhibition within the framework of the project “Originating from Shtetl” in the town of Korsun-Shevchenkovsky, which takes place on the basis of the exhibition “The State of Israel – Ukrainian roots”. It will open on Sunday, 17.03 at 11:00 in the premises of the community of Korsun at the address: Shevchenko str., 39.
The exhibition “The State of Israel – Ukrainian roots” was prepared by the Zionist Federation of Ukraine in collaboration with the Kiev Institute of Jewish Studies.
The exhibition consists of twelve two-meter posters, each of which reveals the direction of development of the Jewish state, such as the army, medicine, urban planning, agriculture, energy, etc. through the prism of the biographies of those who, born in today’s Ukraine, came to Palestine and their ascetic labor brought the creation of the Jewish State.
Compositionally, the exhibition is a special combination of textual and graphic material, which allows to open the topic as fully as possible in a small area.
