September 8, Gusti Yehoshua-Braverman: Israel-Diaspora relations, one Nation?!

Jewish community it is not always about Israel. However, when we use the term “diaspora,” we mean that there is a specific country of origin. Involvement in the Jewish community inside the Jewish state or outside of its borders – is there a fundamental difference?
On September 8, our speaker Gusti Yehoshua-Braverman will talk about how the relations between Israel and the Diaspora are developing today.
Gusti
Yehoshua-Braverman is Head of the Department of Diaspora Affairs in the
World Zionist Organization(WZO).
Previously, she served as the Associate Director of the Israel Movement for Reform
and Progressive Judaism.
Ms. Yehoshua-Braverman has a B.A. in Social Work and M.A. in Communications, both from the Hebrew University.
Gusti is a member of the WZO Executive, member of the Jewish Agency Board of Governors (BOG) and chair of the Small Jewish Communities committee in the BOG. Serves as a board member of the Poultry Council in Israel, Ayelet – The Federation of Non-Olympic Sport in Israel, board member of the National Council to Commemorate Herzl, board member of Ladaat – Choose Well, the organization for the promotion of sexual health and education and is an active volunteer in other organizations.
Member of the Board of Kehilat Mevaseret Zion (KAMATZ) of the Israel Movement for Reform and Progressive Judaism (IMPJ).
